CITY TAX
€ 4,50 per person per night up to 5 nights: to pay on site. Free of charge from the sixth night onwards.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS:
STANDARD RATE: the full amount of the reservation will be charged on the day of check-in to the credit card provided to guarantee the reservation, unless otherwise requested by the guest.
WEEKLY RATE: 5 days prior to arrival the entire amount of the reservation will be charged to the credit card provided to guarantee the reservation, unless otherwise requested by the guest.
MONTHLY RATE | QUARTERLY | SEMESTERLY | ANNUAL RATE: 15 days prior to arrival the entire amount of the reservation will be charged to the credit card provided to guarantee the reservation, unless otherwise requested by the guest.
STUDENT CARD: it is compulsory to show the student card in order to receive discounts on quarterly, semester and annual rates.
BILLING:
If a business invoice is needed, please inform us at the time of booking and provide all personal data for electronic invoicing.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A security deposit is requested upon arrival and has to be paid in CASH (we will issue a receipt). The deposit will be returned after checking the good condition of the flat and an assessment of any damage within 28 days from check-out.
Stays over 28 nights: DEPOSIT €500,00
Stays over 84 nights DEPOSIT €1000,00
For stays over 84 days there is a final cleaning fee of €150,00.
In case of damage of supplies, objects and furniture in the flat, the cost will be deducted from the deposit paid.
Should the condition of the flat or the tenants’ behaviour not be appropriate and respectful towards the property and other guests, the property reserves the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect.
CLEANING:
For stays over 28 nights, a complete change and cleaning of the entire flat once a week is provided.
No cleaning is provided for standard stays.
Extra toel/bed linen changes and cleaning are available on request, with extra charge, to be agreed with the reception.
ADDITIONAL BEDS:
Extra beds are available in the two-room and three-room flats upon request:
– monthly stays: extra charge of €15.00 per person per day
– standard rate stays: extra charge of €30.00 per person per day
CHILDREN:
Children are welcome at Ah Virgilio, children up to two years old stay free of charge: no bed is provided, you can reserve a cot for €10 per night.
Children over three years old are included in our price list as ‘adults’: bed and towels are provided.
ANIMALS:
Small and medium-sized animals not exceeding 25kg are always welcome, prior notification at the time of booking.
The guest accepts and subscribes the animal regulations that will be provided at the time of booking. Stays over 28 nights: extra charge of €2,50 per animal per day.
Stays with standard and weekly rates: extra charge of €15,00 per animal per day.
PARKING:
Parking at the hotel is available free of charge and reservation is not required.
The Management declines all responsibility for the theft of objects left unattended in cars.
NO SMOKING:
All flats are non-smoking: failure to comply with the regulations will result in penalties for the offender.

CREDIT CARD AS GUARANTEE:
We ask for a valid credit card number with expiry date as guarantee for the reservation.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION POLICY:
Free cancellation up to the seventh day before arrival, from the sixth day onwards 100% of the stay will be charged. Active for stays up to 27 nights.
MONTHLY CANCELLATION POLICY
Free cancellation up to the 15th day before arrival, from the 6th day onwards 100% of the stay will be charged. Active for stays over 28 nights.
NON-REFUNDABLE CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation the full 100% of the stay will be deducted. Active for stays up to 27 nights.
N.B: for cancellation penalties, the amount will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

Our reception is available to help and assist you with any request you may have. During your stay, our web app is also available where you will find all the information you need and from which you can send us requests and purchases directly from your smartphone.
How to reach Ah Virgilio?
The apartment-resort is located 4,5 km from the train station: you can reach us from there by taxi or by public transport (APAM LINEA 12: departure stop Stradella-Gazzo – arrival stop Piemonte 1). There is also a free shuttle bus system from the main car parks in the city of Mantua in the direction of the historic centre, info at reception.
How far is the property from Mantua’s historic centre?
The property is 2,6 km from Piazza Sordello.
How can I visit the historic centre of Mantua without a car? The City of Mantua has a free shuttle bus system from the Campo Canoa car park towards Piazza Sordello and viceversa, and from the Montelungo car park towards Via Matteotti and viceversa, more info at reception.
Wi-Fi?
Wifi is available free of charge in the hotel. You will find the password in your flat or you can connect by framing the qr code you will find at reception.
How does self check-in work when the reception is closed?
After sending your IDs via Whatsapp, we will provide you with a code to access the facility and communicate your flat number. You will find the magnetic card to operate electricity, cooling/heating and to enter/exit your flat. Please remember not to forget your card inside the apartment, as it is needed to open all the entrance doors, and please don’t leave it near telephones or electronic equipment as a precaution.
Can I add days to my reservation?
Ask at reception, depending on availability we will try to help you extend your stay!
Can I invite people over to my flat?
Certainly, but they have to register themselves at the reception desk, or via Whatsapp. Your safety is always our top priority! In the case of an overnight stay, an extra charge may apply, info at the reception.
Do you have a baby bed and high chair available?
Certainly, please inform us when booking or upon arrival. Extra charge apply for cots.
Do you have a laundry room?
Laundry room with washing machines and dryers is available on the ground floor.
For washing card refills please contact the reception desk.
I don’t want to wash my clothes, can I have them taken to the laundry?
You will find in the wardrobe a disposable container for your laundry and a form to fill in, hand it in at reception or tell us to collect it, within 48h we will return your clean laundry directly to the flat.
